Terms of Service

1. Who this applies to
These terms apply to everyone using SolarQuotes — homeowners requesting quotes and solar installers ("agents") buying leads. By using the service you accept these terms.
2. Accounts and eligibility
Installer accounts are available to licensed NZ solar installers. We may verify your license, insurance, or trading status at any time. You are responsible for activity on your account.
3. Lead purchases
Lead purchases are charged against credits on your account. Credits are non-refundable except where stated in our refund policy (e.g. disconnected numbers reported within 48 hours of purchase).
4. Privacy and data
We collect and process personal information in accordance with the NZ Privacy Act 2020. See our Privacy Policy for details.
5. Acceptable use
You may not resell leads, scrape the marketplace, or use lead details for anything other than quoting the specific job requested. Breaches may result in account termination and forfeiture of credits.
6. Limitation of liability
SolarQuotes is a lead marketplace, not a party to any install contract. We make no warranties about lead conversion rates. Our total liability is capped at the fees paid in the preceding 12 months.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by New Zealand law. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
